Monterey Jazz Festival Shows

Carmen will perform twice at Monterey, first on Friday as a featured performer in the Mary Lou Williams Tribute concert alongside pianist Shamie Royston, vocalists Michael Mayo, Jean Baylor and Johnaye Kendrick, bassist/co-artistic director Derrick Hodge, and drummer/co-artistic director Allison Miller. Carmen will also perform on Sunday with Parlour Game, kicking off the fall leg of the band’s album release tour after great shows at Newport Jazz Festival and across the country earlier this year.
