"Kick off #WomensHistoryMonth and celebrate the power of women creating music and art with award-winning international vocal star Thana Alexa!
On her upcoming album "ONA," Thana explores the essential role women play in our world. Her album integrates jazz, soul, electronica, pop, and world music, sending a powerful message of female empowerment, and the need to be the change we want to see in the world.
She’s an active member of Migration, Antonio Sanchez’s award-winning touring ensemble, and recorded both "New Life" and "The Meridian Suite" with the group. She also appears on Gene Ess’s albums, two of which won the SESAC Jazz Award (2015, 2016).
